IDOLATRY......


Throughout the Holy Bible there is mention of the sin of idolatry. Most modern day Christians cease to realize that idolatry is a sin that is live and well in our generation. Idolatry defined by the Merriam Webster dictionary is 1: The worship of a physical object as a god. 2: Immoderate attachment or devotion to something.

Are Christians along with the heathen in idolatry in our generation? Of course, there is nothing new under the sun. Ecclesiastes 1:9. There is attachment to vain things, there is worship of celebrities and TV shows, favorite movies, favorite bands, favorite teams, favorite athletes and many Christians don’t even realize their love for that something/someone is love that is not projected towards God.

Love God with ALL of your heart… Matthew 22:37. 100%... Not 99.99%. How much love towards vain things are you giving to these things or heathen celebrities of the world as you worship these worldly things/people along with the heathen? American's idols. The world's idols. 

Exodus 20:3-6 ~ Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Jonah 2:8 ~ They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

1 Corinthians 6:9 ~ Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

1 Corinthians 10:14 ~ Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

Galatians 5:19-21 ~ Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
1 John 5:21 ~ Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

I believe that activities of the world are a distraction to the Faith. Amusement parks, concerts, sport events, etc. are not evil in of itself, but these things do not profit the Kingdom of God. If it is not profitable, then it is vain. 

1 Corinthians 10:23 ~ All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

Romans 13:14 ~ But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

I HONESTLY do not enjoy activities of the world... I rather be sharing the Gospel. I find worldly activities boring and my conscience left guilty because I realize the VANITY in such things. Anguish and urgency needs to be felt for lost souls... People on their way to Eternal Hell. As a Christian reading this... Do you feel any concern? Or are you heartless? Do you really love your neighbor? You've got to warn them that there's a hell and that without Lord Jesus Christ, they will end up in hell. As a Christian... Do you really believe what you think you believe? Because if you really believe you would have overwhelming urgency for the millions of people that don't believe in Lord Jesus Christ and are on their way to Hell. Even many who say they believe will go to Hell... 

Matthew 7:21 ~ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Because they did not warn their neighbor... Because they did not do God's Will. Is it in God's will to go waste hours at a sports event? 

Ezekiel 3:18 ~ When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

As Christians, we are to impact the world by our mere conduct... Going and riding a roller coaster takes away from the urgency of the Faith... Takes away the seriousness of Eternal Salvation... A Christian is to be crucified with Christ. Romans 6:1-6, Galatians 2:20-21. Physical necessities are not comparable to vain entertainment of the world. I am content with only what I need, not what my flesh (carnality) wants which is a distraction to the Faith. 

1 Timothy 6:8 ~ And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

I take joy in doing God's will... Striving to live as they did in the Book of Acts... I don't believe Apostle Paul wasted his time doing vain activities. He was too busy spreading the Gospel, providing for the community, feeding homeless, doing miracles, edifying, teaching, praying, studying, etc. etc. etc. He didn't do vain activities, he died daily. 1 Corinthians 15:31. Apostle Paul was a man of sorrow as David Wilkerson also described. Romans 9:2. The Christian community should have this same sorrow, which is a sorrow we rejoice in because we know we are sharing in the suffering of Christ. Being crucified with Christ. 1 Peter 4:13. 

We are commanded to love God with ALL our hearts... Not 99.99% of our hearts. 100% of our hearts and this is why we as Christians live a crucified life to show our love for Christ, that our hearts have no room for the love of the world and the things the world highly esteems. 

1 John 2:15-17 ~ Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Latest movies, amusement parks, sport events, etc. etc. etc. are highly esteemed among men in this world. A Christian is to not partake in the same activities that nonbelievers partake in. 

Luke 16:15 ~ And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

We don't have TIME to partake in VAIN WORLDLY ACTIVITIES that do not profit the community or ourselves or most importantly, the Kingdom of God. Time is such an important thing we shouldn't waste it, the Christian community needs this revelation, this urgency because someone is going to hell every second. This isn't a time to relax and enjoy earthly pleasures that profit nothing... There's God's work to be done. We all need to rest, recharge in prayer and sleep... Necessities... Going to an amusement park is not a necessity. It is a waste of my time and my money... My time will go towards things that profit the Kingdom of God. My money will go towards things that profit the Kingdom of God. My time and my money will go towards feeding my hungry neighbor. Even looking at this from a non-Christian perspective... There's so much help you could be giving to others in need, yet many sit on their butts watching TV or playing a video game. So much for humanism. 

I have too much of an urgency and a burden in my heart to help this dying world, the church lies in apostasy and the world in wickedness. I have no time to waste on vain worldly entertainment. These are distractions from God's Will which is a stumbling block to be an idolatry. Doing God's Will is my only true joy. Being an example to the world by standing out, being set apart, being separate from the world which shows the conduct a Christian is to have to carry our own cross. Show what work Christ has done in you... If you haven't changed from the way you used to be, you're not born again, a new creature in Christ. John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17. 

2 Corinthians 6:17 ~ Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

Romans 12:1-2 ~ 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

JESUS IS HORUS EXPOSED......


Today I will be exposing the Jesus and Horus comparison, commonly known from Zeitgeist. Gerald Massey is one of the originators of this ridiculous and fabricated comparison... He didn't even have a degree in Egyptology. Professional Egyptologists have largely held his writings in low regard in archaeological circles, to find references to him in reputable modern publications is unlikely. So it seems I'm going to have to debunk this "Jesus is Horus" claim point by point... Again, to mention, I was a Wiccan for 5 years before I became a Christian, so I am familiar with polytheistic pantheons, the stories of each mythology... 

Point #1... "Born of a virgin"
The mother of Horus was the goddess Isis. Her husband, the god Osiris, was killed by his enemy Set, he later dismembered him. Isis managed to retrieve all of Osiris’s body parts except for his penis, which was thrown into the Nile and eaten by catfish as the myth goes. Isis used her goddess powers to temporarily resurrect Osiris and fashion a golden penis. She had sex with him and was then impregnated, and Horus was conceived. There was vaginal penetration, so Isis was not a virgin when she gave birth to Horus. Even if you want to say that it was a miraculous spiritual conception because of Osiris's penis was ate by a catfish... Isis and Osiris were already married before Osiris's death, Isis had already lost her virginity before Osiris's death. 

Point #2... "Only begotten son of Osiris/Jehovah" 
First of all, Jesus wasn't a literal Son to the Father. Jesus is the God of the Old Testament and Jesus is the Creator, this is revealed to us in the Scripture. This is an entirely new debate in of itself. If you want me to discuss the Godhead, I can. "Jehovah" is a title, it means, "Lord". Jesus is our Lord and Savior.

Also, some myths state that Osiris was the father of both Horus and Anubis. This is debatable. 

Point #3... "Born on December 25th"
Again, Gerald Massey is the one that stated that "December 25th is the birthdate selected for Jesus based on the birth of Horus" but The Bible does not include any reference to December 25th or even the Winter as the birth of Jesus. A careful analysis of Scripture clearly indicates that December 25th is an unlikely date for Christ's birth. Shepherds were in the fields watching their flocks at the time of Jesus' birth. Luke:2:7-8. They weren't in the fields during winter. 

Jesus' parents, Joseph and Mary went to Bethlehem to register in a Roman census. Luke:2:1-4. These census would not have been done during winter because people would have to travel in cold weather on poor roads. To determine an exact date, we cannot do, but we can come to a close assumption... 

Elizabeth (John the Baptist's mother) was in her 6 Month of pregnancy when Jesus was conceived. Luke:1:24-36. John's father, Zacharias, was a priest serving in the Jerusalem temple during the course of Abijah. Luke:1:5. This course of service corresponded to June 13-19 in that year. During his temple service, Zacharias learned that he and his wife would have a child. Luke:1:8-13. Once completed his service and traveled home, Elizabeth conceived. Luke:1:23-24. John's conception took place near the end of June, adding 9 Months brings us to the end of March as the most likely time for John's birth. Adding another 6 Months... Since Jesus was conceived 6 Months after John... Brings us to the end of September as the likely time of Jesus' birth. 

Earliest known sources recognizing December 25th as the date of Jesus' birth is by Hippolytus of Rome, early 3rd century. Rome was undergoing a transition from Roman Paganism into "Christianity" or technically Roman Catholicism since Catholicism is a Pagan-Christian Hybrid. Pagans Worldwide commonly worship the spring and fall equinoxes, summer and winter solstices. Hippolytus placed the equinox on March 25th as Mary's conception and then added 9 months to get December 25th, thus establishing the date we know now as Christmas. In truth, December 25th has always been a Pagan holiday historically at the founding of Paganism by King Nimrod and Queen Semiramis. 

Roman pagans first introduced the holiday of Saturnalia, a week long period of lawlessness celebrated between December 17-25.  During this period, Roman courts were closed, and Roman law dictated that no one could be punished for damaging property or injuring people during the weeklong celebration. The festival began when Roman authorities chose “an enemy of the Roman people” to represent the “Lord of Misrule.”  Each Roman community selected a victim whom they forced to indulge in food and other physical pleasures throughout the week.  At the festival’s conclusion, December 25th, Roman authorities believed they were destroying the forces of evil by brutally murdering an innocent man or woman.

In the 4th century CE, Christianity imported the Saturnalia festival hoping to take the pagan masses in with it. Constantine and Christian leaders succeeded in converting Pagans to "Christianity" by promising them that they could continue to celebrate the Saturnalia on December 25th as "Christians" since, "Jesus was born on this day." Saturnalia is the Birth of the Sun... And "Christians" told Pagans that Christmas is the Birth of the Son. Simple transition. Every pagan pantheon has a sun god... Apollo in Greek pantheon, Amaterasu in Japanese pantheon, in Roman pantheon, etc. etc. 

Horus is known as the Sun god in the Egyptian pantheon. King Nimrod who is the original "sun god" from Babylon, he originated this practice of sun and moon worship. King Nimrod's birthday was December 25th and that has carried on as a festival in every pagan pantheon as the birth of the sun god. December 25th is a pagan holiday, not a Christian one. Pagans celebrate the solstices, not Christians. The only reason Christians today celebrate December 25th is because of the Catholic Church that used it as a tool to convert Roman Pagans into Roman Catholicism.

Point #4... "Three Witnesses"
The Bible says nothing specifically about three wise men. It just mentions wise men, the plural number is not defined. Matthew 2:1 - Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,"

Point #5... "Herut/Herod tried to have Horus/Jesus murdered"
Gerald Massey has stated that The Biblical references to Herod the Great were based on the myth of Herrut, the problem with this claim is that Herod is not a parallel myth... His existence is Historic from non-Biblical sources. Proof that Herod the Great lived can be proven without reliance on any Christian sources. Herut, however, has no non-mythological sources. 

Point #6... "Anup/John baptizes Horus/Jesus" 
There is no character named Anup the Baptizer in ancient Egyptian Mythology. This is the concoction of Gerald Massey and this is why professional Egyptologists have largely ignored his bastardized writings. 

Even if we turn Anup into Anubis, who was an Egyptian god of tomb protection and mummification... Even asserting that Anubis baptized Horus is an empty statement because there is no authentic writings or depictions of Anubis baptizing Horus. 

I also do not recall Anubis being beheaded. 
Point #7... "Satan temps Jesus/Seth attempt to kill Horus"
So now we're connecting Set with Satan, but earlier we were connecting Seth with Joseph. Did Jesus ever battle with Joseph in the Gospels? No. Doing battle is different from being tempted, Set attempted to kill Horus. Satan never attempted to try and kill Jesus. Set attempts to kill Horus, they battle in the desert. While Jesus is tempted to submit in the wilderness by Satan. (Matthew 4, Mark 1:12-13, Luke 4:1-13.)  
The relationship between Horus and Seth in Egyptian Mythology was quite different than the relationship between Jesus and Satan. Seth and Horus were battling rivals with each other, but they reconciled. There is never any reconciliation between Jesus and Satan. 
Apparently a "pharaoh" was a “Horus reconciled to Seth, or a gentleman in whom the spirit of disorder had been integrated” because Egypt was unified. - Oxford Guide to Egyptian Mythology. 
Point #8... "12 Disciples"
In Egyptian Mythology... There are indications of the four Sons of Horus, there is also six demigods who followed Horus, but never any mention of 12 distinct followers. Gerald Massey, once again, is the one who arrived at the claim that Horus had 12 followers, he assumes this by referencing the mural of "The Twelve who reap Harvest" but Horus is not depicted in this mural. So how Massey connected these twelve reapers as being Horus' followers is not clear why he made such an assumption. 
Point #9... "Horus'/Jesus' Miracles"
Oh my gosh... These comparisons are so far-fetched. In Egyptian mythology, Horus is poisoned by Seth and brought back to life by the god Thoth at the request of his mother, Isis. The ancient Egyptians used this spell described on The Metternich Stella monument. It was believed that the spirit of Horus would dwell within the sick, and they would be cured the same way he was as the myth goes. No where in the mythology does Horus travel the countryside laying his hands on sick people and restoring them to health.
Point #10... "Horus raised his father Osiris from the dead.  
As I mentioned earlier, Set killed Osiris and he was briefly brought back to life by his wife Isis, in order for her to have sex with Osiris and conceive Horus. It was not Horus who raised Osiris from the dead. It was his mother, Isis. 
Point #11... "Asar” translates to “Lazarus.”
"Asar" is an alternative name for "Osiris", this is correct. "Osiris" is a Greek translation of the Egyptian name, "Asar". Translated into Hebrew, this is "El-Asar"... "Lazarus" in Hebrew is translated as "Eleazar" meaning, "God has helped." Eleazar does not equal El-Asar. Jesus raised Eleazar from the dead. Horus didn't raise El-Asar from the dead. Jesus does not equal Horus. 
Point #12... "Horus/Jesus Crucified" 
There is only mention of depictions of Horus standing in cruciform, not actually being crucified. Within Egyptian Mythology there is no mention that Horus was crucified. Meanwhile we have evidence from non-Christian sources that the Romans around the time of Christ practiced crucifixion as a form of capital punishment and that Jesus of Nazareth was a man who was crucified. There is no historical evidence at all to suggest that the ancient Egyptians made use of this type of punishment nor that Horus was crucified in reality nor in fiction. 
Point #13... "Resurrection announced by women"
Wow... What are the chances it'd be announced by women... 50/50. Again, look at the Metternich Stella. The child Horus dying and being brought back to life is not really comparable to Jesus. Jesus did not die as a child, nor did his mother bring him to an animal-headed god named Thoth to raise him from the dead. Thoth is most likely the one to announce the resurrection of the child, it is not determined exactly in the Metternich Stella. Even so... Horus' resurrection announced by women which isn't confirmed but even if it is so, this happened when he was a baby. Jesus' resurrection was announced by women when He was an adult. 
The list is much longer, but these are the key points I hope will help to keep people's faiths firm in Lord Jesus and His Holy Word. May He bless you, my brothers and sisters. 

SINLESS PERFECTION EXPOSED......


I've always been a perfectionist... Everything I've done whether it be in my drawings, writings, cooking, anything I do... It's Biblical as well, we are called to be the best we can be. The most morally upright, holy, righteous, a living sacrifice. 

Matthew 5:48 ~ Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

It's a very high standard to live up to, but it's for our own good as well as the good of humanity. The reason we have such a corrupted society is because humankind chooses to do their own will and not the will of God, which is, perfect. Doing God's will brings about true peace... No killing or war, no stealing, no adultery or pedophilia or any sexual immorality, no lying, no greed... Humankind persists to do their own will though. They choose sin. They choose an eternal destination to Hell because men and women choose to defy God. The Lord gives free will because He wants to see His creation obey out of love/understanding and not out of programming. God does not want us to go to Hell, but ultimately it is our choice as what we do with our lives that determines where we spend eternity. It's simply, justice. 

Ezekiel 11:33 ~ Say unto them, [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

2 Peter 3:9 ~ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Galatians 6:7-8 ~ 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

We reap what we sow, we get what we deserve... Karma as Eastern Philosophy would refer to it for example. Simply, justice. God does not want us to go to Hell, but He has to serve justice for the choices of each individual. He loved us so much that He came to die on the Cross of Calvary... The Lamb of God, the sacrifice Whose Blood blots out our past sins... Because we all have failed God once. 

Romans 3:23 ~ For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

So backing up to the original point on how we're called to be perfect, to be the best we can be... Dead to human will and alive to God's will. Now we cannot be perfect as God is perfect because as it says here in Romans 3:23, all have sinned... God never sinned even when He was in the flesh, He never sinned... So no man or woman is even as close to God's level of perfection, but... That doesn't mean we should be discouraged, we still need to strive to be perfect, as righteous as we can be, repentance which is a change of lifestyle. 

2 Corinthians 5:17 ~ Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Romans 6:1-4 ~ 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 6 is the true representation of baptism and true definition of being Born Again... 

John 3:3 ~ Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Sinless Perfection is what we are to strive for as Christians, we must forsake sin in order to have mercy. Proverbs 28:13. There is an extreme in doctrine, an imbalance. I agree with what they teach 98%, but I find disagreement at their lack of compassion or patience for seeds to grow (conviction in a person to be seen.) 

Sinless Perfectionists preach a doctrine that counters the predominant false doctrine of Calvinism, specifically Total Depravity... If you haven't read my Calvinism Exposed article I suggest you go back and read it... I do not want to be perceived as a Calvinist because I am deeply opposed to Calvinism's teachings such as O.S.A.S and T.U.L.I.P... I will expound a bit to give a reminder... 

T - Total hereditary depravity

Calvinism teaches that Total Hereditary Depravity is that babies inherit the sin of Adam and are totally depraved and therefore unable to respond to the Gospel message of Christ. God has always been a God who provides choices... Gives us Free Will all the way back to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden...Genesis 3:22.

Deuteronomy 30:19 - "...I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live."

Genesis 3:22 reveals that, after Adam and Eve sinned, they knew both good and evil. Deuteronomy 30:19 indicates that mankind still had the ability to choose either life or death. This proves one thing: even though mankind is considered spiritually depraved, this doesn't necessarily mean that we are so depraved that we cannot make the right choice to be Saved.

According to Calvinism, mankind's spiritual downfall from Adam prevents everyone and anyone from making the proper choice regarding salvation. They believe that it is impossible for us to come to God on our own. That God chose us before the foundation of the Earth. But if man was totally incapable of making the correct decision to choose life, why would God tell us to choose? Because we are to CHOOSE the path we walk. The broad path or narrow path. Matthew 7:13-14.

Lord Jesus has installed a conscience in every single one of us. Written His Law on our hearts. Romans 2:15. Based on our conscience, we make the choice. This conscience even an atheist has... The basic morality that killing, lying, stealing, cheating, etc. is wrong. Christians are called to be more than moral though, a higher standard is perfection. We make the choice to go down this narrow path, to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice. 

Since God has foreknowledge, He just happens to know the decisions we will make before we make them. Yes, we have a "Sin Nature" because Adam didn't deny Satan's temptation... But that doesn't mean we are so depraved that we cannot deny temptation today... We can. Yes, the temptation will always be there because of Adam's sin, but you can choose to deny your own temptation. 

1 Corinthians 15:31 ~ I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

Dying to temptation daily... The sin nature is an inclination to an evil will, the desire to please the flesh, self gratification that must be forsaken and denied in order to receive salvation. The human heart is desperately wicked because we seek to please ourselves, serve ourselves which is self-idolatry and is by extension not serving God... Selfishness vs. Selflessness. Satan's will vs. God's will. Denying self is the Gospel. Christ Jesus denied Himself, denied temptation and became lower than the angels. Hebrews 2:7. We must deny temptation of wickedness, die to wicked desire... 

Jeremiah 17:9-10 ~ 9 The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10 I the LORD search the heart, [I] try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, [and] according to the fruit of his doings.

Sinless Perfectionists teach that there is absolutely no sin nature, I agree there is no sin nature in the sense of the Calvinist definition that we are depraved... We're not depraved, it's a choice to die to the sin nature or to not die to sin nature. We have the ability to deny and purge ourselves of sin, to repent, to die daily... We choose gratification of flesh that is fleeting or sanctification of the soul which is everlasting and in order to sanctify the soul we must forsake sin. 

Sinless Perfectionist tend to teach that this perfection is instant not gradual... In my own walk and seeing the walks and testimonies of other brother's and sister's it is logical to state that sinless perfection is gradual. It is not an instant thing because people who have a heart after God, wish to learn more everyday and they grow. If you ask any Christian.... "Have you become a better person over the years of being a Christian?" The answer should be, "Yes." That is the Christian lifestyle to become better everyday. 

God commands that we must, "Repent (Forsake sin) and Believe". Mark 1:15. What motivates us to forsake sin though? Believing and knowing that there is a Holy God that will judge us. Acts 17:31. What motivates us to forsake sin? Being filled with the Fear of the Lord which means hatred of sin... Proverbs 8:13 & Proverbs 9:10. Why would we hate sin? Because it separates us from a Holy God. Hellfire. Romans 6:23. If we fear being separated from God though, that means we believe in Him. 

So we forsake sin, that is the start of our walk as stated in Romans 6. We are to die to our sin, die to our will... We become a living sacrifice. We remove sin from our life... Stop lying, stop killing/hatred, stop stealing, stop adultery/sexual immorality, stop greediness/covetousness, stop idolatry, stop cussing, stop smoking, stop drinking, stop drugs, stop tattooing, etc. etc. etc. Now, I'm not undermining that all of these sins must stop at the beginning of our walk, the true walk of being aware sin must stop in order to have salvation, these sins must stop... Let me add though, are we perfect just because we stop all these sins at the beginning of our walk? No. 

I'll explain... Someone at the beginning of their walk may repent of all these sins as they're supposed to, but a baby Christian will not have full understanding of all sound doctrine. They must be taught so that they may become a more excellent sacrifice. When we choose to start on the narrow road of forsaking sin, we become a living sacrifice, but can we become a more excellent living sacrifice? Of course. 

For example... I already understand my role as a wife, to be submissive to my husband and brothers... I am submissive, but could I become MORE submissive... I'm submissive, but could I come to the level of submission of Mary Featherstone (Smith Wigglesworth's wife). As I am right now I'm not to her level of submission, I'm submissive, but I'm striving to be more submissive. A more excellent sacrifice. 

In the eyes of the outside world I'm already "sinless" because I am submissive and defy Feministic ideology, because I take no part in this world's sin, the idolatry... When I pray in public with a head covering, wearing long skirts/being modest is strange to the secular world. I know in my heart though that even though I'm already strange to the world... I want to become stranger... I don't want into Heaven by the skin of my teeth, I want to get in with flying colors. I'm in a race, I don't want the bronze, I want gold for my Lord's own glory because He has helped perfect me, His Holy Word has guided me to perfection. I can't get into Heaven without Him. My righteousness is filthy rags. Isaiah 64:4. 

Am I there yet? No. I don't think I'll ever claim that I am either... Because even though I'm already submissive, I sin less, I'll want to go to the next level of submission and the next and the next... My God is infinite, I don't think there is a limit to the perfection He demands of me... I don't believe there is a magical checklist... There's definitely a guideline of commandments that must be done in order to receive salvation, but then what? I'm done being perfected? Or can I still strive to be better even though I'm already righteous? That's a true perfectionist. 

A true perfectionist will never claim perfection, because even though they are already good, they desire to be better. This is the heart condition that God is after. A humble heart, a contrite heart. It's the heart condition more than anything. Now before I go on rambling any longer... Let me quote some Scripture... 

1 John 1:8-10 ~ 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Verses 8 and 10 are the main focus, compare both these verses... Verse 10 is obvious, we all have sinned, this was covered in Romans 3:23. "Sinned" is past tense, so it means sins committed in our pasts. Now look at verse 8, worded in a similar manner... But... It's not past tense like verse 10, it's presence tense... Meaning if you claim you have no sin then you have deceived yourself. If we say we have no sin, presence tense... If we say that we have not sinned, past tense. 

As I said, we are to strive for perfection and we are to forsake sin, we are to become perfect in that manner, but to claim perfection is someone without a humble heart or a desire to become better than they already are. 

All you have to ask a Sinless Perfectionist is: "Do you take confidence in your salvation? Are you 100% without sin?" There's two answers... "I am perfect." Which is obviously the Pharisee answer, the legalist who doesn't have a humble heart that seeks to please God, they are a living sacrifice, dead to sin, but they don't desire to become a more excellent sacrifice. 

The other answer is: "No, I am not saved, I am not a child of God until there is 0% sin" Which is a good place to be in a sense because more fear of the Lord makes us more serious about removing sin, but controversy this doctrine can breed a sense of hopelessness and removing God from our daily lives, having a relationship with God because the Sinless Perfectionist believes that God doesn't hear the prayers of sinners... In their view God doesn't hear you if you have 0.5% sin in your life. Which, would make a prayer life be nonexistent. 

John 9:31 - Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

The Greek word for, "Sinners" is "Hamartōlos" meaning, "Devoted to sin, not free from sin, pre-eminently sinful, especially wicked, all wicked men, specifically men stained with certain definite vices or crimes, heathen."

In this context, you can read it as... "Now we know that God heareth not those who are devoted to sin." Meaning those who love sin, lifestyle of sin, no intention of removing sin, no hatred of sin... These are the people that are not heard by God. 

Proverbs 28:9 - He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer [shall be] abomination.

Proverbs 15:29 - The LORD [is] far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

Psalms 66:18 - If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear [me]:

1 Peter 3:12 - For the eyes of the Lord [are] over the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord [is] against them that do evil.

James 5:16 - Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Isaiah 59:2 - But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not 

The people of Nineveh prayed that Nineveh might be spared. Jonah 3:5-10. God answered this prayer and did not destroy the city of Nineveh as He had threatened.

Hagar asked God to protect her son Ishmael. Genesis 21:14-19. God not only protected Ishmael, God blessed him exceedingly.

1 Kings 21:27-29, Ahab fasts and mourns over Elijah's prophecy concerning his posterity. God responds by not bringing about the calamity in Ahab's time.
So what is the key to God hearing our prayers? A contrite heart, a humble heart. Sinless Perfectionists say that those who are not 100% sinless, absolutely perfect do not have their prayers heard... King Ahab was far from perfect, Nineveh was far from perfect as well... God heard them. 

Jeremiah 29:13 ~ And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

I guess Paul didn't have his prayers heard... 

Philippians 3:9-16 ~ 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. 16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

So we are not even 100% perfect until we are resurrected and no longer enduring the temptation of the flesh, we must deny temptation to receive eternal life, dying daily as Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 15:31. Verse 13 tells us though that Paul is forgetting his past sins (Pharisee and murderer) and reaching forward to the daily perfection and eternal perfection that is before him, in his future. It is a daily striving. The keyword here is striving. 

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 ~ 24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they [do it] to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27 But I keep under my body, and bring [it] into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. God only doesn't hear those who are not striving, who are not conquering sin, who justify sin. 

Philippians 2:12 ~ Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

These verses about God not hearing sinners are still true, every verse is, they're just used and twisted to support false doctrine. God doesn't hear the prayers of those who practice sin as a lifestyle, those who believe they can use Jesus' Blood as a free pass to sin... Pray the sinner's prayer then make plans to go get drunk in the night time... Hypocrites... Go to confession then plan to go commit idolatry after church... The prayers of those who frustrate God's grace are the prayers that are not heard. God will not listen to those that have no intention of striving after perfection, only those who are striving are heard. Those with the Fear of the Lord in their hearts are heard. 

Galatians 2:20-21 ~ 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Confirming what we read in Romans 6, dead to sin, crucified with Christ. Christ lives in those who do His will, the Holy Spirit lives in those who die to sin. Not frustrating God's grace means not using His Blood as a justification to commit sin... But if we think we can be saved by a checklist and being perfect on our own means without need of Lord Jesus then it is self-righteousness. 

I've dealt with two sisters who were Sinless Perfectionists... One sister demanded that I take off my wedding ring because I was not supposed to be wearing jewelry, especially a pagan practice of wedding rings. When I got married I didn't want or expect an engagement ring or wedding ring... I'm not materialistic, but since even after I was married I had men coming up and flirting with me, who I'd have to reject, telling them I was married.

I felt bad, I felt like I was having these men commit adultery in their hearts. They thought I was single because I didn't wear a wedding ring. On my 1st Anniversary I got a wedding ring and guys have stopped flirting with me, those who would still flirt even when I have a ring are a minority that have a seared conscience. 

This Sinless Perfectionist sister though... Rebuked me hard, along with other sisters over issues that are in need of conviction from God. Strained at a gnat. My heart intention was pure when it came to my ring, it was not out of vanity or materialism... It was out of guilt for other men sinning in their hearts because of me. Sinless Perfectionists can choke the seed that is trying to grow, they will cut someone off after the first rebuke and not be long-suffering to see if conviction will come or if the person will be continually resistant. 

A fresh convert, an example, a woman wearing pants handing out tracts, evangelizing... She isn't aware that she should be wearing a long skirt, she's new to the faith, unaware that showing the thigh is considered nakedness... Do we condemn her for her action in ignorance or do we teach with patience? We cannot be tolerant of sin and we cannot lack compassion, aptness to teach, long-suffering.... For we may be choking the seed that is striving to grow. There is a balance that Sinless Perfectionists do not achieve. Proverbs 11:1. 

Another Sinless Perfectionist I have dealt with is a lady who had the gull to call me and a fellow sister, "A child of the devil." She considered anyone who has any amount of sin, "A child of the devil." Therefore I asked her, "Are you 100% without sin?" she answered, "I haven't obtained complete perfection." My reply was simply, "Then by your own standards, you are a child of the devil and take no confidence in your salvation." 

2 Corinthians 1:12-15 ~ 12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. 13 For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end; 14 As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also [are] ours in the day of the Lord Jesus. 15 And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit;



2 Corinthians 3:4-6 ~ 4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] of God; 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

1 John 4:17 ~ Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Proverbs 14:26 ~ In the fear of the LORD [is] strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

To close this article... I will end with Psalm 51 that is a prayer that God supposedly didn't hear because David was a sinner... No... This is a beautiful prayer from a humble heart that fears the Lord... God heard it and if you claim that God didn't hear it, then you do not know the heart of the Author of the Holy Bible. Humble yourself, your self-righteousness will not save you. You may be a living sacrifice, dead to sin, but there's no desire to become a more excellent sacrifice. A true perfectionist will never claim perfection, because they know how they can be better. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. Lord Jesus bless you all. 

Psalm 51 ~ 1 [[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.]] Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin [is] ever before me. 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done [this] evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, [and] be clear when thou judgest. 5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden [part] thou shalt make me to know wisdom. 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow 8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; [that] the bones [which] thou hast broken may rejoice. 9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me [with thy] free spirit. 13 [Then] will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. 14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: [and] my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. 15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. 16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give [it]: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God [are] a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. 18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. 19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

DIVORCE & REMARRIAGE......


"When is it justifiable to divorce my husband/wife?" This question is frequently asked in the Christian community, because as heathen before we were Born Again we may have had a divorce and we want to know if it was justified or unjustified. We may know someone who is seeking a divorce. We may want a divorce, but do not know if it is justifiable. Your partner may be cheating on you... Which, is the only reason God gave for a justifiable reason to divorce your spouse is for reasons of adultery. 

Matthew 19:6-9 ~ 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. 7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? 8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except [it be] for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Law of Moses that Lord Jesus is referencing is... 

Deuteronomy 24:1-5 ~ 1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give [it] in her hand, and send her out of his house. 2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's [wife]. 3 And [if] the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth [it] in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her [to be] his wife; 4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that [is] abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance.

The frequent question I get asked by women is: "Only adultery is a justified reason for divorce? What about abuse?" 

First of all... Most of the time, if a man is abusive, he is also adulterous. Beating your wife obviously takes a more seared conscience to do, it is a very cowardly and dishonorable thing to cause harm to a woman. 

Colossians 3:19 - “Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.”

Second of all... The Bible is clear that abusing another person is an abomination. Wives are of higher status than a slave and the Bible is clear that slaves are not to be abused. If you do abuse your slave, then that slave is to be set free. Cannot the same pertain to a wife since she is of higher status than a slave? If you do abuse your wife, then that wife is to be set free from the marriage. 

Exodus 21:26-27 -"26 If a man strikes the eye of his male servant or his female servant so that he destroys it, he will let the servant go free as compensation for the eye. 27 And if he smite out his manservant's tooth, or his maidservant's tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth's sake."

Let's not use abuse as a loophole though, I hear many women justify their own rebellion and un-submissive behavior because of abuse, mainly emotional abuse which is very subjective. 

1 Peter 2:18 ~ Servants, [be] subject to [your] masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.

Women will use the argument of, "If my husband isn't obedient to God, if my husband doesn't fulfill his role by loving me like Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25) if he doesn't treat me the way I want to be treated, then... I don't have to do my role." Repent of this doctrine. You have a desperately wicked heart that is looking for loopholes. Jeremiah 17:9. 

Excuses for your flesh not to be crucified. We are to die to our flesh, our will and to do God's will... So our sinful will as women is to rule over our husband, control our household... But God's will is that we be meek and submit to our husband. So in order to have salvation we must be crucified with Christ, dying to our will, picking up our cross daily. So women die (Galatians 2:20) to their will (Genesis 3:16). You not dying to your will, just because your husband isn't doing his role, is not an excuse for you. You will be judged individually. 

That's why when I see women justifying their rebellion because of emotional abuse, I actually end up seeing that's she's not being emotionally abused, but she simply doesn't want to submit. She feels emotionally abused because she is called to be meek, quiet and submissive... In this feministic society, expecting this behavior from women is sexist and abusive. Patriarchy is taught to be something evil. 

I'm not justifying a man's abusive behavior if his abuse is legitimate, and not just being accused of abuse so the woman can feel justified in her rebellion. That's why we need to fear God, because we need to examine the intentions of our own hearts. Look at the story of Smith Wiggleswirth's wife... Mary Featherstone... Her husband would get angry at her when she'd leave the house to go attend her Bible studies, he'd lock her out of the house and make her sleep on the porch. Smith would only let his wife back into house the next morning, and when he'd open the door, she'd ask him, "How did you sleep, dear? What can I make you for breakfast?" 

Do we really have an excuse when this woman was filled with the Holy Spirit to react with such poise, patience, meekness and love? Most women in society today would call the police in the same situation, because we're raised in this society where long-suffering with such behavior is wrong. Such tolerance is not to be shown. Yes, the actions Smith Wigglesworth did were wrong, but was his wife's tolerance in vain? Absolutely not. Smith Wigglesworth became an evangelist. This scenario is a beautiful example of Scripture being demonstrated...  

1 Peter 3:1 ~ Likewise, ye wives, [be] in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

Even if your husband isn't obedient, submit to him. Submit to Godly commands, if your husband commands you to sin then you are not obligated. In all other things though, submit with no excuse. Win him over by your Godly conduct. Just as Mary Featherstone did. We may not be able to win over everyone with our conduct, but we are commanded to try. The other individual still has their free will. We each will be judged individually though. Ezekiel 3:18-19. All we have to worry about is doing our part, doing our role. Stop blaming others for why you are not doing your role. Focus on what you need to do for God and stop focusing on what others should do for God. You will be judged on your role. They will be judged on their role. You not doing your role because another isn't doing their role will not be a valid excuse on Judgement Day. Don't use another's sin, to justify your own sin. 

Now, back to topic at hand... Divorce. Now that we establish that both adultery and abuse are justified reasons for divorce, and how we must examine our hearts if we seek to justify our own rebellion... 

Let me now expose the No Divorce-No Remarriage cult. Their doctrine consists of that if you were ever married and then divorced, you can never remarry. Doesn't matter if you are the victim or the perpetrator in the divorce, both parties are to remain unmarried. False Doctrine! 

We already read in Deuteronomy 24 and Matthew 19:9 that remarriage is justified if your previous partner was adulterous towards you. As well as abusive to where your life is threatened. To completely expose this false doctrine of no remarriage ever... 

1 Corinthians 7:10-16...

10 And unto the married I command, [yet] not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from [her] husband: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to [her] husband: and let not the husband put away [his] wife.

So if a woman depart/divorce her husband, obviously for unjustified reasons she is to remain unmarried, she may not go and marry another man. She may only be allowed to be reconciled with the man she divorced. 

12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. 14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

So if your spouse is not a Christian, but they are peaceful and happy to remain married with you, then you should be happy and remain married to them. You may be able to save your unbelieving spouse. 

15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such [cases]: but God hath called us to peace. 16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save [thy] husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save [thy] wife?

If the unbeliever departs/divorces you, then that shows their heathen ways, but you, the victim of the divorce is justified to remarry. You are not in bondage. In short, the victim of the divorce is justified to remarry... The perpetrator of the divorce is unjustified to remarry unless the reason they are divorcing is for reasons of adultery or abuse. Again though, let's fight for our marriages as Christians. As verse 16 said... Who knows if you will save your wayward spouse. Let's demonstrate Christ's conduct of being long-suffering. Let the heathen be the one to issue the divorce, not the Christian. 

Though sometimes there are scenarios where the unbelieving spouse is abusive and refuses to issue a divorce... Legally that is... Although spiritual divorce is breaking the covenant of marriage by committing adultery or being abusive. When one spouse breaks their wedding vow... They are the ones who have issued a divorce. We have to look at things both in the spiritual and legal law... Because the No Divorce-No Remarriage doctrine tends to only look at the legality of things... 

For example... If a man and woman are dating, they have sex, and then the man gets deceived by the No Divorce-No Remarriage cult and the woman he is dating was previously married and divorced, the man never being married... This doctrine says its a sin for this woman to remarry, but the man can go on ahead and marry another woman that hadn't been previously married. "His sin was only fornication/pre-marital sex. It's not adultery like remarriage is."

This doctrine, lessens the seriousness of pre-marital sex. Adultery in the heart. They only look at the legality on pieces of paper... What does God consider marriage? A piece of paper? No. Marriage is the act of marriage, which is sex. Becoming one flesh is sex. Man into woman. One flesh. Every man or woman you have had sex with... Has been your spouse... To further my point with Scripture... 

Genesis 24:67 ~ 63 And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels [were] coming. 64 And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel. 65 For she [had] said unto the servant, What man [is] this that walketh in the field to meet us? And the servant [had] said, It [is] my master: therefore she took a vail, and covered herself. 66 And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done. 67 And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother's [death].

So here we have Isaac and Rebekah meeting for the first time, Isaac then takes Rebekah into his mother's tent, obviously to have sex, and Rebekah became his wife because of the act of sex. Becoming one flesh. Becoming married. The act of sex makes you married. There was no ceremony here, Scripture doesn't tell us that Isaac invited the whole tribe and a feast was made, etc. etc. If you wish to add to Scripture that's your choice to assume what they went into the tent to do. To further my point, we'll go to the Samaritan woman as an example... 

John 4:15-19 ~ 15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. 16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. 17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: 18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. 19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

So the woman says she has no husband, the man she is with she must only consider a boyfriend, or together only for sexual pleasure. She doesn't consider the man she is with her husband, but obviously Jesus does consider him her husband because He calls him her husband. He actually rebukes her and tells her that she has had five husbands... Or rather, she has had sexual relations with five men. Lord Jesus told her all the things she ever did and that's why she called Him a prophet. 

Sex is such a spiritual thing, the action is a covenant that creates soul ties that shouldn't be put asunder. God wants it to be one man with one woman, but we are all so adulterous. I don't like when Christians try to undermine their sin and say, "It wasn't adultery, it was just fornication because it was pre-marital sex." No! Sex equals marriage. If you have sex, you are married. If you have sex with that person, you are to stay with that person. Of course, many of us didn't stay with the first person we gave our virginity to. We need forgiveness and we need to forsake our past adulterous ways... 

In short, look at your marriage... Who is the perpetrator of the divorce? Who is the victim? Perpetrator of a divorce is defined by the spouse who broke the covenant by adultery or abuse. He/she is the perpetrator. Again, don't justify your rebellion... Fight for your marriage... Be patient and long-suffering. The victim of the divorce is allowed to remarry, but be long-suffering for who knows if your conduct will save your spouse's soul.
