Christians are called to expose false teachers...
Ephesians 5:11 ~ Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
We are to judge in order to save people's soul. We are to correct with The Bible. We are to warn those in sin.
John 7:24 ~ Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
1 Corinthians 6:3-5 ~ 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? 4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. 5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
Ezekiel 3:18-19 ~ 18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
The Catholic Church killed millions in The Crusades, The Inquisition and Conquistadores breaking their own God's commandment...
Exodus 20:13 ~ "Thou shall not kill."
Exodus 20:13 ~ "Thou shall not kill."
Founding of Church...
The Catholic Church is said to be founded by Peter, that he was the first Pope, but he was martyred by the Romans in 64 AD. In reality it was Emperor Constantine who founded the church at his conversion from Roman Paganism into Christianity; 313AD. Of course many of the Roman citizens were still Pagan and he needed a church where the Christians and Pagans who are polytheistic could get along.
The image of Christ (and others) is false and heresy...
Exodus 20:4 ~ "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth."
The image of "Christ" is in truth the son of Pope Alexander the 6th. His name was Cesare Borgia. 1 Corinthians 11:14 ~ "Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?"
If Jesus really had long hair, Saint Paul wouldn't rebuke long-haired men.
Isaiah 53:2 ~ "For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty that we should desire him."
Rosary...
The Rosary consists of the "The Lord's Prayer/Our Father", "Glory Be", and "Hail Mary." Lord's Prayer is Biblical, even though the Rosary removes the last part of the prayer. The Rosary is to say... Apostles Creed, 6 Our Fathers, 6 Glory Be, 53 Hail Mary. Then Memorare, Hail Holy Queen, Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The majority of The Rosary is praying to Mary. 56 out of 69 prayers are to Mary. She did not die for your sins. Jesus did. Why do you pray more to her than Jesus? She is not a mediator for you, there is only One mediator between us and God, and that is Jesus. Pray to Jesus. Jesus is your mediator. Not Mary. She is not to intercede for you.
1 Timothy 2:5 ~ For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 44:17 ~ “And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god."
Mary would be angry with all Catholics, Mary was born in a Jewish culture, she believed in keeping the 10 Commandments, she believed that the only one deserving of worship is God Himself. Respect Mary and stop worshipping her, her statues cry blood because God's children have turned her into an idol.
Luke 4:8 ~ "Jesus answered him, 'It is written, You are to worship the Lord your God and serve ONLY him."
Exodus 20:3 ~ "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
1 Corinthians 3:10 ~ "Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry."
Exodus 20:3 ~ "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
1 Corinthians 3:10 ~ "Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry."
Stop worshipping the saints as well, they do not want to be worshipped by you. Acts 14. Stop worshipping the Angels, they do not want you to worship them. When Saint John fell at the Angels feet to worship the Angel, the Angel told John to stop worshipping.
Revelation 19:10 ~ And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
You worship Mary, you worship the saints and the Angels which is sin. Idolatry. We are not to pray to or worship Mary, the saints or the Angels. Only God is deserving of worship.
Luke 4:8 ~ "Jesus answered him, 'It is written, You are to worship the Lord your God and serve ONLY him."
Mary did not remain a Virgin her entire life...
Matthew 1:24-25 ~ "Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife. And knew her not UNTIL she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS."
Matthew 13:55-56 ~ "Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this [man] all these things?"
Matthew 12:47 ~ "Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee."
Galatians 1:19 ~ "But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother."
And... Luke 11:27-28 ~ "As he said these things, a woman in the crowd spoke out to him, 'Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts at which you nursed!' But he said, 'Yea rather, blessed [are] they that hear the word of God, and keep it.'"
We are to respect Mary, she does not want our prayers. God does not want us to pray to her, Mary was a great woman, a great example of submissiveness to God. We should follow her example, but not hail her. Hailing is worship, asking her to intercede is not Biblical as I already showed the Scripture that Jesus is the only One who intercedes for us. Asking any saint or angel or dead relative to intercede for us is Un-Biblical and it is the sin of idolatry and necromancy.
Merriam Webster Dictionary...
Necromancy: The practice of talking to the spirits of dead people.
Leviticus 19:31 ~ Do not turn to the spirits of the dead and do not seek familiar spirits to become unclean by them. I am the LORD your God.
Deuteronomy 18:10-11 ~ 10 There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
Merriam Webster Dictionary...
Idolatry: 1 : the worship of a physical object as a god
- 2 : immoderate attachment or devotion to something
Priests...
Matthew 23:9 ~ "And call no [man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven."
We are not to call priests, bishops or pope our father. They are nothing more but men that have sinned just like us.
Romans 3:23 ~ "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Priests and bishops are commanded by the Catholic Church to stay unmarried and celibate, but what does the Bible say? A bishop is to be married and to have children.
1 Timothy 3:1-5 ~ 1 This [is] a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
Why do you think that priests burn in lust and become burdened with sexual perversion such as pedophilia. 1 Corinthians 7:8-9 ~ 8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. 9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
Celibacy is for those who can do it without burning in their lust, it is not to be forced upon priests, but the Bible tells the bishops to marry so that they do not fall into sexual immorality.
Priests cannot forgive sins...
"The Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation is a Sacrament in which we are sorry for our sins, confess them to a priest, receive forgiveness for them and are reconciled with God and the Church."
No priest can forgive anyone's sins. A bishop cannot forgive a priest's sins. The Pope cannot forgive sins. Only God is able to forgive sins. For a man to claim that he can forgive sins is blasphemy and that is why the Pharisees were angry at Lord Jesus because they believed He was only a man, not God, but we know that Jesus Christ is God and has the authority to forgive sins. Only God has the authority to forgive sins, not man. Priests are just men, the Pope is just a man like any other. All humans have sinned.
Romans 3:23 ~ "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Mark 2:7-10 ~ 7 Why doth this [man] thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? 8 And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? 9 Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, [Thy] sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? 10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
Confession...
We are to confess to God directly.
Psalms 32:5 ~ I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
We are to confess to brethren.
James 5:16 ~ Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Communion...
Also known as, "transubstantiation" or in other words, cannibalism, since Catholicism teaches that they are literally digesting Jesus' flesh and blood. The belief is that the flesh and blood of Christ digest into the human body; thus, giving it's recipient spiritual strength and renewal. The logical conclusion then must be that one passes Jesus out in their feces as well... This is twisting Scripture very badly. We are not literally eating our Savior. It's symbolic, not literal.
Jesus claimed to be the “Bread of Life” in John 6:35. Jesus also claimed to be the “Door” in John 10:9. Was Jesus a literal door? No, He's God. Maybe He's a literal loaf of bread? No, He's God. It is obvious in John 4:10. that Jesus wasn't offering the Samaritan woman actual water, but living water, the Holy Spirit. Our spiritual life is nourished by the Word of God. 1 Peter 2:2. It is the Holy Spirit of God that empowers and strengthens believers Ephesians 3:16.
Luke 22:15-20 ~ 15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer 16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide [it] among yourselves. 18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. 19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake [it], and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup [is] the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
First of all, this was a Passover meal... Passover is a day established by God for the Israelites to remember that God freed them from slavery in Egypt. God ordered during this celebration that a Passover lamb would be slain on April 14th, which now we know that Jesus is the Lamb of God and He was crucified during Passover. Jesus is the Passover Lamb without blemish, without sin.
Exodus 12:5-7 ~ Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take [it] out from the sheep, or from the goats: 6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. 7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike [it] on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
Second of all, Jesus says that He will neither eat or drink wine until Heaven is established on Earth.
Thirdly, Jesus told us to do this in remembrance of Him... He does not say do this everyday, but He is talking about remembering His death. Remembering Him before we sit down and eat supper, to give thanks, as this clearly was nothing more than supper with His disciples. Jesus was teaching the disciples to be thankful before a meal, especially the Passover meal which is what the Last Supper was, the Passover, April 14th is the day Jesus was sacrificed. So Jesus is telling us to remember Passover, His death, to remember that He is the Lamb of God, not a literal lamb, but symbolic for a sacrifice. Bread broken because His body was broken, symbolic not literal. Wine poured out as His Blood was poured out, symbolic not literal. The bread and wine is symbolic for His literal body and blood, the bread does not become flesh and the wine does not become blood. He's telling us to remember His death which is Passover. Catholics worship the Eucharist more than Christ Himself, the bread and wine is not literally Jesus. It's symbolic.
Jeremiah 7:18 ~ "The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead [their] dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger."
Baby Baptism...
There is no Biblical reference for a baby ever being baptized in the Bible. In the Bible, only believers who had placed their faith in Christ were baptized - as a public testimony of their faith and identification with Him. Acts 2:38, Romans 6:1-4. Water baptism by immersion is a step of obedience after faith in Christ. It is a proclamation of faith in Christ, a statement of submission to Him, and an identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. Water baptism is symbolism that we are confirming our relationship with Christ. Just like a wedding ring is symbolic for confirming a marriage. Water baptism represents that we believe the Gospel and that we agree to confess and forsake our sins. Mark 1:15, Proverbs 28:13.
Baptism is being immersed backwards in water and being brought back up out of the water which is symbolism for Christ's death, going down into the grave and rising again. Symbolic for us as Christians to have us die to a sinful lifestyle and be born again as Jesus commanded. John 3:3. To be a new creature in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17.
A baby cannot place his or her faith in Christ, an infant cannot make a free will conscious decision to obey Christ. An infant cannot understand what water baptism symbolizes. The Bible does not record any infants being baptized. Infant baptism is sprinkling water over the babies head, this method of infant baptism fails to agree with the Bible. How does pouring or sprinkling illustrate the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ? It doesn't, but it is highly unsafe to immerse a baby in water, thus why baptism is for adults when someone reaches the age of accountability.
However, Water Baptism does not save a person. It does not matter if you were baptized by immersion, pouring, or sprinkling - if you have not first trusted in Christ for salvation, water baptism is meaningless because the individual has not done what water baptism represents, dying to sin. Water baptism is the symbolism that we will forsake our sins and be obedient to God, born again, become a new person. Romans 6 is clear...
Romans 6:1-8 ~ "1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of [his] resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:"
Purgatory...
Luke 16:26 ~ And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that [would come] from thence.
In short, there is nothing between Heaven and Earth or Hell and Earth... Only a gulf, void of anything. Also in this story, the story of the rich man and Lazarus, we see that the rich man went directly to Hell and Lazarus went directly to Heaven.
Luke 16:22-25 ~ 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
Opus Dei...
Opus Dei, formally known as The Prelature of the Holy Cross and Opus Dei, is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church that teaches that everyone is called to holiness and that ordinary life is a path to sanctity.
The most heretical sect of Catholicism because it teaches that you can be sanctified by your daily job, not just the Sacraments. Only God ordained works can save us, such as Feeding the poor, Evangelizing, Church attendance, Reading The Holy Bible, Prayer, Worship. Earning money does not save us because...
Matthew 6:24 ~ No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Ephesians 2:8-10 ~ For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Conclusion...
You may be calling me Sola Scriptura right now, yes, I agree that is what I believe. You believe in Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scripture, but your traditions transgress the Scripture.
Matthew 15:3 ~ "But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?"
Tradition of this Whore of Babylon are not sacred and neither are the traditions of the heretical Protestant Churches that are the Whore's Harlot Daughters...
Revelation 17:1-6 ~ "1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many WATERS: 2 With whom the KINGS of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a SCARLET coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in PURPLE and SCARLET colour, and decked with GOLD and precious stones and pearls, having a golden CUP in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the SAINTS, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration."
Revelation 17:9 ~ "And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven MOUNTAINS, on which the woman sitteth."
Revelation 17:18 ~ "And the woman which thou sawest is that great CITY, which reigneth over the kings of the earth."
Vatican City that sits on seven mountains and water. The colors of the Church being scarlet and purple, with gold, precious stones and pearls all over the City and the Pope adorned in them as well. The golden cup used in communion; drunken with the blood of the saints they martyred and worship. The Catholic Church is the Whore of Babylon because they derive their pagan practices from the original pagan city of Babylon, and the prostitute that created the religion of paganism was Queen Semiramis of Babylon. I will discuss about her and much more in future articles... As of now, the Catholic Church has many more pagan practices, so please I plead for you to come out of her... Lord Jesus bless you. I love you, all.
