Charles Taze Russell, a 33rd degree Freemason... This high ranking of Freemason they are required to spit on and step on a cross and denounce their faith in Jesus Christ. Cursing Jesus. Charles Taze Russell was the founder of the Jehovah Witnesses in 1874. So to say he was a Freemason of high rank is unbelievable, but this is proven with where Charles T. Russell is buried under a Illuminati pyramid at the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society in the Greater Pittsburgh Masonic Center Cemetery.
Again, let's go into the History of Jehovah's Witness before exposing their heresy. In 1870, a young man named, Charles Taze Russell started a Bible Study in Pittsburgh. In 1876, the class decided that Russell would be their Pastor.
In 1879, he founded, "Herald of the Morning" which eventually developed into what is known today as "The Watchtower Announcing Jehovah's Kingdom." Today this publication has grown to over 17 Million copies per month in over one hundred languages.
In 1884, Russell incorporated the "Zion's Watch Tower Tract Society" at Pittsburgh. Today this organization has branches in over one hundred countries, and it has missionary works in over two hundred and fifty. With over one-half million volunteer workers, the Jehovah's Witnesses have become a serious threat to Bible believers throughout the world.
Russell died in 1916, and Judge J.F. Rutherford took over the Society's leadership. It was under Rutherford's leadership that the group took the name "Jehovah's Witnesses," and Society headquarters moved to Brooklyn. Rutherford died in 1942, and Nathan Knorr took control and boosted the membership to over 2 Million. In 1961 the Society published its own translation of the Holy Scriptures called, The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. Obviously heresy. King James Bible is your best bet while looking back on Hebrew and Greek. I recommend the Blue Letter Bible app that has a nice concordance.
Now before I go into a long winding rant about the Society's corrupt history, let's just get right into at looking at their Doctrine and comparing it to the Bible. That's all that matters.
2 Tim. 3:16 - "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
Any Christian should be humble and open to correction if they truly love God and His Holy Word our Bible. But if they ignore the Bible and cling to their "Doctrine of Devils" that's their choice.
1 Timothy 4:1 - "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;"
Our duty as Christians is to check Doctrines to see if it lines up with Scripture, if not we must take no part in it and warn the ones who practice this Doctrine of Devils. False Doctrines. Un-Biblical Doctrines. We must rebuke these Doctrines for these Doctrines lead people away from the faith or they remain in these False Doctrines and have a False Salvation.
The main false doctrines taught by Jehovah's Witness are as follows: 1.) Jehovah is God the Father, and that Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are not God. They condemn the Trinity and misunderstand it to go to the whole other extreme of denying the Son. 2.) That Jesus Christ did not physically rise from the dead. 3.) That there will be no literal and physical Second Coming of Christ. 4.) That there will be no place of eternal torment for the wicked... Pretty simple to debunk, but let's start...
1.) As I've said, I have an entire article on the Trinity, the Godhead... There's two heresies to the Godhead... That the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are three separate persons or entities... Or, like the Jehovah's Witness believe, that The Father is God and The Son and Holy Spirit are not God. This is heresy... Jesus is God in flesh, Emmanuel. Jesus is the God of the Old and New Testament. Jesus is the Creator. The Father, The Son and Holy Spirit are all One God. I will go into this in detail in my next article. Stay clear of False Doctrines of the Godhead, there's 1.) God is three separate Gods, or 2.) Only one of the three is God. Both are heresy.
New World Translation ATTACKS the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ:
It changes Zechariah 12:10 to read, ". . . they will certainly look to the one whom they pierced. . . ."
King James Version: Zechariah 12:10 - "...And they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn."
I understand their message of trying to preach that God is One because they have hatred for the Trinity because it teaches that there are three separate gods, but this goes way past truth to the other extreme of denying the Son. John 8:58 is where Christ said, "Before Abraham was, I am." This matches God's statement to Moses in Exodus 3:14, meaning that Jesus is God. However, the N.W.T. says, "Before Abraham came into existence, I have been." This destroys the valuable cross reference to Exodus 3:14. Jehovah's Witness believe that Jesus was "a god" before the time of Abraham, but that He was NOT the "I AM" of Exodus 3:14. Jesus is not the Supreme God to them, they deny the Son. Matthew 10:33. Tampering with His Holy Word. They change many other verses within their Bible Translation, so stay away from it. Revelation 22:19.
They deny that Jesus is God, that He is nothing more than a creation of God's...
". . . he was the first and direct creation of Jehovah God" (The Kingdom is at Hand, Page 46, 47, 49).
"If Jesus were God, then during Jesus' death, God was dead in the grave" (Let God Be True, Page 91).
". . . the true Scriptures speak of God's Son, the Word, as 'a god'." He is a "mighty god," but not the Almighty God, who is Jehovah" (The Truth Shall Make You Free, Page 47).
"The very fact that he was sent proves he was not equal with God, but was less than God his father" (The Word: Who is He, Page 41).
But if we look at Colossians 1:16... We see a different story. Colossians 1:16 - "For by him (Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"
To add, Jehovah's Witnesses believe Jesus Christ was Michael the Archangel before becoming a man. "...the Son of God was known as Michael before he came to earth" (Reasoning from the Scriptures, Page 218). There is no basis for this anywhere in the Bible.
After Jesus died, he was resurrected with His original identity as Michael the Archangel. "Read carefully the following Bible account: 'War broke out in heaven: Michael who is the resurrected Jesus Christ and his angels battled with the dragon'" (You Can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth, 1982, Page 21).
Michael, on his own, could not rebuke Satan. Jude 1:9. But Jesus in Luke 4:8 and Mark 9:25 rebukes Satan by Himself. An angel cannot rule the world, they are in subjection to God. Hebrews 2:5. Yet Jesus will be the One who will rule the World. Luke 1:32-33 and Revelation 19:16.
Therefore... Archangel Michael is not Jesus and Lord Jesus is not Michael.
2.) Did Jesus Christ Rise Physically From the Dead?
According to Jehovah's Witness, He did not. Heresy of the highest sort! The Bible speaks of a literal and physical resurrection, but the Watchtower Society teaches that Jesus only rose from the grave spiritually. They quote...
". . . So the King Christ Jesus was put to death in the flesh and was resurrected an invisible spirit creature." (Let God Be True, Page 138)
Jesus was invisible? How did Mary Magdalene see Him then? John 20:18. Then how did Thomas see to touch Him? John 20:27-29. How did any of the disciples know He rose? Because He made Himself visible by being risen in the flesh because remember His body was GONE. Let's see how Jehovah's Witness explains that...
"Therefore the bodies in which Jesus manifested himself to his disciples after his return to life were not the body in which he was nailed to a tree. They were merely materialized for the occasion, resembling on one or two occasions the body in which he died..." (The Kingdom Is At Hand, Page 259)
"Our Lord's human body... did not decay or corrupt... whether it was dissolved into gasses or whether it is still preserved somewhere... no one knows." (Studies In The Scriptures, Volume 2, Page 129)
...…Heresy. Complete Blasphemy.
Luke 24:36-42 - "36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. 38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. 40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. 41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? 42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb."
So... Jesus says it for Himself in Verse 39, "Look at my hands and my feet; it's me! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones like you see I have." And Jesus was hungry, too! He's in a physical body, the same physical body He was crucified in because He has holes in His hands and feet, this is what He says to look at for evidence!
This goes against the entire basis of the Gospel! A fundamental doctrine! The prophesy! John 2:19-21 -"19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? 21 But he spake of the temple of his body."
1 Corinthians 15:12-14 - "12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain."
Jehovah's Witness is doomed then... Sadly.
3.) Will There Be A Literal and Physical Second Coming?
If Lord Jesus was resurrected literally and physically from the dead, and if He appeared physically to His disciples, then His Second Coming must also be literal and physical.
Acts 1:11 - "Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
Not according to Jehovah's Witness...
"Christ Jesus comes, not again as a human, but as a glorious spirit person." (Let God Be True, Page 196)
"Since no earthly men have ever seen or can see the Father, they will be unable to see the glorified Son." (Let God Be True, Page 197)
"It is a settled Scriptural truth, therefore, that human eyes will not see him at his second coming, neither will he come in a fleshy body." (The Truth Shall Make You Free, Page 295)
Jesus is the visible image of God! Colossians 1:15. Every eye will see Him during the Second Coming. Matthew 24:30, Revelation 1:7. His physical feet (Luke 24:39) will stand upon the physical mount of Olives. Zechariah 14:4.
We all know that Jehovah's Witness has a colorful history of predicting the dates of Jesus' Second Coming... Matthew 24:36... I don't know why they try since Jesus will apparently be invisible, but... These are the dates they predicted His coming would be and obviously, they were wrong every time...
-In 1897, The Battle of Armageddon stated on Page 75 that Jesus' Second Coming had ALREADY HAPPENED INVISIBLY in the year 1874, and the Watchtower publication re-stated this in the September 15th issue of 1922 and also in the January 1st issue of 1924.
-In 1892, January 5th, the Watchtower claimed that Armageddon began in 1874 and would end in 1914. Bad timing, since in 1914 was the beginning of World War One!
-You Can Live Forever In Paradise on Earth... "...Bible evidence shows that in the year 1914 C.E. God's time arrived for Christ to return and begin ruling...Christ's return invisible...Christ himself gave a visible 'sign' by which we may know that he is invisibly present...'NATION WILL RISE AGAINST NATION'...Surely you have seen this part of the 'sign' being fulfilled since 1914! In that year World War I began"
Revelation 1:7... Is clear that when Jesus returns, we will all know it. We will see Him. He won't do so invisibly.
-The book Millions Now Living Will Never Die, Page 89 claimed, "the earthly phase of the kingdom shall be recognized." and that in 1925 would bring the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old. When the January 1st, 1925, issue of the Watchtower was published, it said, "This may be accomplished. It may not be."
-In 1941, December Watchtower issue claimed that World War Two would turn America and England into dictatorships, that the end of Nazi rule would mark the end of demon rule, and that God would rule when the Nazis were defeated.
-In 1942, May 27th, Consolation, Page 13... They were still talking about Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob returning "any day now!"
What an embarrassment...
4.) Is Hell A Literal Fiery Place? According to Jehovah's Witness, no... It is not...
"...the Bible hell is mankind's common grave..." (Let God Be True, Page 92 and Page 98)
"The doctrine of a burning hell where the wicked are tortured eternally after death cannot be true..." (Let God Be True, Page 99)
Now what did Jesus say...
Matthew 25:46 - "And these will depart into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
Matthew 18:8 - "Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire."
Matthew 8:12 - "But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
There is fire in the Hell... Luke 16:23, Deuteronomy 32:22, Matthew 5:22. They pray from Hell... Luke 16:24. Hell was originally made for Satan and his angels... Matthew 25:41.
God is an Eternal Spirit... An Eternal payment is required for Breaking Universal Law... Sinning... You can have a Fair Trial and pay for your sins yourself... Or... You can accept a Gift of Salvation from Lord Jesus. He paid for your sins, because He doesn't want to see you suffer in Hell because He loves you. If you choose not to, then you deserve Hell... To keep Order and Justice in His Kingdom, God will have no choice but to sentence you to Hell forever. This is the fundamental doctrine of Christianity. Don't allow such false teachers as the Jehovah's Witnesses to lead you down the broad path to destruction.
Let's expose a few extra heresies if you're not convinced...
Watchtower, February 15th, 1984... "The Bible shows that only a limited number of persons, a 'little flock,' will go to heaven...The rest of faithful humankind will live on earth as the subjects of these rulers."
The Holy Bible... There is no Caste System in Christianity. All are one in Christ. Equal. Galatians 3:28. The "other sheep" Jesus referred to in John 10:16 are Gentiles who will one day join Jewish believers to accept Jesus as Savior to form one body of Christians.
Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985 and... Blood, Medicine and the Law of God, 1961... Claim that Acts 15:29 as a strict prohibition against receiving blood transfusions.
Acts 15:29 - "That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well." This is about EATING meat and blood from sacrifices to idols. Obviously because this is demonic and something demonic doesn't belong in your temple/body.
Jehovah's Witness have taken this as far as not allowing a baby to receive a blood transfusion...
In a 1995 Canadian case, Children's Aid Society of Metropolitan Toronto... Jehovah's Witness parents refused a blood transfusion for their severely anemic 1-year-old daughter who was at risk of congestive heart failure. The baby was made a ward of the court in order to administer clinically necessary blood transfusions. The Supreme Court of Canada ultimately ruled that this state intervention was a legitimate limitation on religious freedom. In their ruling the Court considered Canada's Charter of Rights (section 2 (a) - right to freedom of conscience and religion) versus the Ontario province's obligation to a "child in need of protection" under the Ontario Child Welfare Act.
Another case I found disturbing is the Testimony of Paul and Pat Blizard... On August 10th, 1980, Jenny Leigh Blizard was born. Their first daughter. At 5 Weeks old, Jenny received a small cut on a finger which became non-stop bleeding. Local doctors found that Jenny's blood simply would not clot. Finally, a team of doctors informed Paul and Pat that Jenny needed an emergency blood transfusion to save her life. Now, here stand two Jehovah's Witness parents having to choose their Salvation or their baby's life. Watchtower law does not permit any Jehovah's Witness to take blood in any form, under no circumstances, even if it means death. Paul and Pat informed the Doctors after time of thought that they would have to obey God's law and would have to let Jenny die.
The hospital officials contacted the Texas Child Welfare Dept. and a lawsuit was filed against Paul and Pat for child abuse and neglect. A court order was issued to ensure that Jenny would receive the blood she needed to save her life. The Sheriff's Department of Bexar County issued them citations and warned the hospital staff not to allow Paul or Pat to remove Jenny from the hospital. Jehovah's Witnesses have a long history of sneaking patients out of hospitals to avoid blood transfusions at all costs.
The Jehovah's Witness Church elders went to visit Paul and Pat. They were relieved to find out that there was still time to plan a way to kidnap Jenny out of the hospital before blood could be administered. Paul and Pat explained to them that the matter was out of their hands and that both parents were under court order not to remove Jenny. That did not matter to the elders. Jenny would die if she was removed, and the parents would be charged with murder. The elders replied, "That's the chance you have to take! You cannot allow them to give your child blood!"
Without further discussion, they were asked to leave, Paul and Pat deciding that they could not allow their child to die in this way. The elders left the hospital angry that Paul and Pat would not submit to their demands. "I hope, she gets hepatitis from that blood, just to prove that it's bad!" One elder said. When the parents finally returned home with Jenny, the Witnesses had received word that even though they had protested the transfusion, Paul and Pat "allowed" their child to take it. This made Paul and Pat outcasts in the Churches eyes. They were shunned.
These cases happen again and again even until this day, not even on Biblical grounds for Freedom of Religion. This cult is crazy and cruel, far from having Lord Jesus' Holy Spirit dwelling within them.
The ONLY area I say I can agree with Jehovah's Witness is this...
-The Truth that Leads to Eternal Life, 1968... "Christendom's chief holiday, Easter, therefore finds no support at all in the Bible. It is of pagan origin."
Easter is a pagan festival, celebrating the Spring Equinox. Early Christianity made a pragmatic acceptance of ancient pagan practises, most of which we enjoy today at Easter. The Babylonian goddess Ishtar, was hung naked on a stake, and was subsequently resurrected and ascended from the underworld.
Bunnies are a leftover from the pagan festival of Eostre, a great northern goddess whose symbol was a rabbit or hare. Exchange of eggs is an ancient custom, celebrated by many cultures. Representing, "Fertility".
The Bible mentions no dates! It is all assumption, it doesn't matter what day Christ died, it only matter that He did die and we need to thank Him EVERYDAY for this.
This goes for Christmas as well... Roman pagans first introduced the holiday of Saturnalia, a week long period of lawlessness celebrated between December 17-25. During this period, Roman courts were closed, and Roman law dictated that no one could be punished for damaging property or injuring people during the weeklong celebration. The festival began when Roman authorities chose "an enemy of the Roman people" to represent the "Lord of Misrule." Each Roman community selected a victim whom they forced to indulge in food and other physical pleasures throughout the week. At the festival's conclusion, December 25th, Roman authorities believed they were destroying the forces of evil by brutally murdering an innocent man or woman.
In the 4th century CE, Christianity imported the Saturnalia festival hoping to take the pagan masses in with it. Constantine and Christian leaders succeeded in converting Pagans to Christianity by promising them that they could continue to celebrate the Saturnalia on December 25th as Christians since, "Jesus was born on this day." Saturnalia is the Birth of the Sun... And Christians told Pagans that Christmas is the Birth of the Son. Simple transition.
In truth... Jesus was born around the time of September, my theory is He was born on September 11th, since the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers I believe was to blaspheme Jesus' birth... BUT I ADMIT THIS IS ONLY MY EXTRA-BIBLICAL GUESS AND I DO NOT CELEBRATE LORD JESUS' BIRTH ON SEPTEMBER 11TH!
A careful analysis of Scripture clearly indicates that December 25th is an unlikely date for Christ's birth. Shepherds were in the fields watching their flocks at the time of Jesus' birth. Luke:2:7-8. They weren't in the fields during winter.
Jesus' parents, Joseph and Mary went to Bethlehem to register in a Roman census. Luke:2:1-4. These census would not have been done during winter because people would have to travel in cold weather on poor roads.
To determine an exact date, we cannot do, but we can come to a close assumption... Elizabeth (John the Baptist's mother) was in her 6 Month of pregnancy when Jesus was conceived. Luke:1:24-36.
John's father, Zacharias, was a priest serving in the Jerusalem temple during the course of Abijah. Luke:1:5. This course of service corresponded to June 13-19 in that year. During his temple service, Zacharias learned that he and his wife would have a child. Luke:1:8-13. Once completed his service and traveled home, Elizabeth conceived. Luke:1:23-24.
Assuming... John's conception took place near the end of June, adding 9 Months brings us to the end of March as the most likely time for John's birth. Adding another 6 Months... Since Jesus was conceived 6 Months after John... Brings us to the end of September as the likely time of Jesus' birth. It all really isn't too important to The Lord though since He never commanded us to worship His birth, but only worship God Himself. Jehovah's Witness, even though knowing the truth about December 25th, choose to set October 1st as Jesus' birthdate when in truth that date is an assumption.
Other than this, Jehovah's Witness is a complete heretical group that needs to repent. Do not yolk with them, do not follow them, but follow Jesus Christ.
All cults base their final authority upon something other than God's Word. The Mormon cult uses the Book of Mormon. The Jehovah Witnesses cult uses the writings of the Watchtower Society. Catholic cult uses the Catechism. The Christian Science cult uses the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. The Seventh-Day Adventists cult uses the writings of Ellen G. White. The Scientology cult uses the writings of L. Ron Hubbard. And the Kabbalah cult uses the Zohar. The Bible, the Word of God becomes second best.
Most all Christian sects preach and practice some type of heresy, they do not read or know their Bible completely and sometimes will not change their ways even if they found out the Bible contradicts their Doctrine. Christ did not die for your sins so that you could sin. Do you know your scripture or only know what your preacher says? Only 3% of Christians have read their entire Bible cover to cover.
Matthew 7:21 - "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
You do not need a church building either, when The Bible says, "church" it is talking about people, not a building. Matthew 18:20. Join people who are actual Bible believers. Do not forsake fellowship. Hebrews 10:25. Read and study The Bible daily. You need to die to your flesh daily/sin and pick up the cross and follow Christ. You are Christian, a follower of Christ... No one else, no Sect... Only Christ... Only His Holy Bible.
Luke 9:23 - "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me."
